    You must be over 18 years of age to purchase wine from the Capital Wine Co. Online Cellar. We try our best to ensure that we send the vintage that you have ordered. If the producer is out of stock, and we cannot find the wine anywhere else, we will contact you for instructions on whether to send a later vintage or refund the order. All prices include VAT We currently only deliver in Johannesburg and Pretoria areas. All prices exclude Delivery fees. A flat rate of R150.00 is charged for all orders under R1 500.00. All orders above R1 500.00 will qualify for free delivery in the above mentioned delivery areas.
  • Payment Options
    We accept Visa and Mastercard credit cards through the YOCO payment portal. All online credit card payments are processed by the YOCO Payment Gateway. Corporate clients can open and run accounts. Please contact us on orders@capitalwineco.com for more information.
  • Delivery / Shipping
    Orders will only be delivered after payment has been validated and processed by YOCO Payment Gateway. After payment has been validated and processed, it will take approximately 3-5 working days for orders to be delivered. Should we suspect any delays, we will contact you immediately for further instructions. All orders must be signed for at delivery by an adult aged 18 years or over. If no adult is at the address when the delivery is attempted, Capital Wine Co. will not deliver the order. In which case we will contact you to arrange an alternative delivery date. If the delivery address is a work address, the person that placed the order must personally sign receipt of the goods as Capital Wine Co. will not be liable for the loss of said orders. Should the product be returned to us under these circumstances, the customer will be held liable for additional delivery costs.
  • Order Cancellation / Refund
    Should you wish to cancel an order after it has been placed and you have paid by Credit Card, a 10% service fee will be charged and deducted from the refund. For all order cancellations / refunds please contact us at orders@capitalwineco.com
  • Breakage Policy
    As wine bottles are rather fragile, we unfortunately do experience breakages. If when you receive your wine, and you notice that a bottle has been broken, please write this on the delivery note you sign. Please contact us on orders@capitalwineco.com and inform us on how many bottles are broken (and which wine). We will immediately put the appropriate amount back into your credit card, or send you replacement wine. The choice is yours.
  • Returns Policy
    If you are not completely happy with your purchase, please contact us to arrange collection and a refund. Should the wine not be stored in suitable cool temperatures of 18 degrees Celsius, we cannot exchange the order and neither will the wine producer take responsibility for incorrect storage procedures. In cases of unavailability, we will refund you in full within 7 working days. Any complaints regarding the standard and quality of the products bought should be directed to orders@capitalwineco.com. Capital Wine Co. reserves the right to cancel an order for which payment has already been received if stock is insufficient or the quality of goods ordered do not meet our quality standards. Should we ever exercise this right, we will first communicate with you to try and suggest alternative wines, failing which you will receive a full refund with no deductions.
